The Cavicchio family has a four-generation connection with the land they farm. Since the purchase in 1910 of fifty-six acres by Guiseppe and Civita Cavicchio in Sudbury MA, the farm was transformed from an apple orchard and vegetable farm to a perennial and annual growing operation by Paul and Louise Cavicchio in 1940. Over the years the farm has evolved into a complete horticultural center.

Today, Cavicchio Greenhouses, Inc. operates under the leadership of Paul Cavicchio, Jr., and a dedicated team of growers, horticultural experts and landscape professionals, whose ideas and experience continually bring about change and innovation.

We actively work to reduce our carbon footprint and protect our environment by: 

• Growing in state-of-the-art greenhouse space, powered by computerized  environmental control systems - Managing crop rotation and incorporating biological insect programs
• Composting grass and leaf clippings – Establishing a plastic container return and recycling program
• Collecting, aerating, filtering and reusing water
• Utilizing wood-fueled heating and cooling systems

We strive to provide the highest level of knowledgeable and dependable service to all our customers. At the Pickup Area you’ll find items from our current availabilities list and a huge offering of seasonal specialties. Horticulturalist and greenhouse specialists are available to assist you. The Nursery and Landscape Yard are staffed with experienced professionals who can help you prepare a project materials list, budget and guide you through our comprehensive selection of stone, landscape supplies, and nursery stock.

Our proprietary software allows us to place your order, manage our inventory, hand select your requests, and schedule a delivery. We are equipped with our own fleet of trucks to efficiently deliver your products on time. If we don’t currently have what your project requires, we will find it. We will work with our established network of reliable contract growers to fulfill even the most unusual requests.
